It is time to play catch up... so this is a little about what we have been doing:I do not post a lot on Ryan and I just wanted to say a little about this past year. Ryan help over four people have a successful hunt this past year some even from out of state. I really think that is something and I am so proud of him. I love his devotion to the outdoors and how he is willing to do anything for people.
Tayven, Tayven this little guy is my busy one..he keeps us going! the most recent with Tay is our dedication to get him talking ;) He is so smart and knows how to talk and understands alot..but the little stinker will not talk, he has got to the point that he can point and we do. humm why would he talk when he does not have to?? I will catch him saying something and the second that he realises I heard he stops. I love this little guy and how different he is from Braxton. It is so fun to have him in our home and we are forever blessed from his sweet spirit!

Our time with dad!!! Lately the boys have been so into monster truck videos/RC videos that Ryan brings up from YouTube. They love it!! so funny that they are total boys!

This big boy is three!!! We celebrated Braxton's birthday the week before Christmas and he sure enjoyed all the cool cars, trains and toys he got. I can not believe how fast the years go by and that I have a baby that is THREE!!! I have been so proud of him moving into sunbeams and being so big about it. I was really worried about this transition as young as he is but he has done great!! I told him that now that he is three he can be happy and so far I think he has grown a lot!! I love the things he picks up and how smart he is!!! Love you Brax with all my heart!!

This just makes me laugh! Everytime I see it!

This kid kills me! He is so smart and is always saying things to keep us laughing! He is a little busy when it comes to mom wanting a picture but it was easy to capture the top picture...he has been infatuated with all the toy ads and has even gone as far as to sleep with one. haha. He is already planning what he wants for his Birthday and what he wants to ask Santa for. We love you Brax and are so grateful for the smiles you bring to our family!

The Pumpkin Patch

Our Halloween was very fun this year! To start out we have been keeping the tradition of walking to the pumpkin patch, past the Hall's to see the animals and off to the patch to play and pick out pumpkins. We went to the Provo ropes course on a Halloween cruise and had soup with all the cousins! We also participated in the Spanish Fork main street Trick-Or-Treating and went to the big red barn with dad. On Halloween we made the rounds in the costumes so all the family could see the boys. It has been really busy as you can see but we had an awesome month and really enjoyed this Halloween!

The Farewell

Today is Matt's Farewell. I have a lot of thoughts that I wanted to share. First it has been a long time since I have had to say good bye to a missionary..never easy and always so spiritual!! I also want to share a little about Matt. At first I was not his favorite person but as Ryan's right hand we became pretty good buds! We have done a lot together and he is such a good uncle to my boys. I truly look forward to teaching my boys through Matt's mission about the importance of missionary work. What a great example a missionary is!!! We love you Matt and we will miss you incredibly!! Thank you for being there for Ryan and for our Family!

On the day of Tayven's Birthday we went to the pool.. all day! He loves the pool and we all had a blast!!

Wednesday night we had cake pops and Banana splits followed by a rinse in the Splash Pad!

The Birthday Party was a success!! Despite the fact that the banner I spent hours and hours on could not be hung up because of the wind. I think what really made the party was all the special people that were there to make my baby boy feel so special! He loved his monkey cake and I think the monkey cake pops were a hit..thank goodness. I still am baffled that this little guy is one and all over the place! I love him and he sure makes life fun!!

Today my monkey turns ONE! I honestly have not wanted this day to come; with Braxton being the first I looked forward to the first birthday but with Tayven I have kind of dreaded it. I just can not believe that it has already been one year! I know that people say things like you turn around and they grown but this year feels like a blink!!
Tayven is our sunshine. He is always always happy!!! He is walking everywhere but usually he prefers to walk around when nobody is looking. He has been my busy boy! He is into the things most of the time you do not want him in..IE the toilet and cleaning cupboard. I have really enjoyed the fact that he is such a monkey, it keeps me on my toes! He is always watching big brother and loves to play and make car and dino sounds with him. He LOVES Food and is always hungry! He will pretty much eat anything and anytime he sees you eating he make mmm sounds. He is a total mom ma's boy and loves to snuggle. He likes to lounge and watch some cartoons, he will lay on you and just completely make himself comfortable. He loves to play on our down comforter. He does not talk a ton but is always observing and looks like he has a lot to say. .especially when Brax is in trouble. He says Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Abbie, No no, uh oh, Brax..and a few others here and there. He has such a sweet heart I can already tell. I Love this little man so much!! I am so incredibly blessed to be his mom. I have really enjoyed him and love the addition he has made to our family! Happy first birthday Tay man! I love you more than you know!!!

Well to start with I have to apologize to my readers. My blog is not the easiest to read however most of what I post is for me and very much my personality. I keep my blog because I am not the best at scrapbooks or digital books for that matter. I am sitting here looking at these fun park pictures and thinking I need to remember and enjoy these times! The boys being little are just a piece to my big puzzle and is such a short time. I think our life can get a little crazy but I have sure enjoyed every step of the way! This summer I have made an attempt to do something fun with the boys at least once a week. We have had the best summer and really have not stopped! Thanks to all my fun buddies who participated and here is to a fun and eventful fall!

It all happened in a matter of minutes!! I was in the other room and Brax and Tay found the baby powder. While coming around the corner Brax was jumping in it and Tay swimming. They had a blast but it was short lived; mom made them help clean it up. It is times like these you do not forget! It was literally everywhere (there was a layer of power up the walls and all over the counter tops) but the sound of their giggles was priceless!

Braxton
Loves anything BOY Trucks, Tractors, Bugs, Cars, Dirt..and so on.
When I think of Brax I think of all the fun random things he says. I think Brax was born and two weeks later grew up. He talks like he is so big.
He likes to: Play anything boy and watch movies.
Learning: ABC and how to swim, ride a bike...which is kind of when you are a chicken and potty without moms help!
What makes Brax sad: Time outs and people getting in his bubble.
And thing that make him Happy: Cars, dirt, trucks, movies, sometimes cousins, dad, naps, trains, dinosaurs, being read to..mostly monster books and Baby Brother!

Back in Business (Warning Picture overload)

Every 4th of JULY we head over to Provo for the hot air balloons usually followed by breakfast and more than likely a BBQ or 2. This year Braxton really enjoyed this pig ... that was from afar. The Balloons did not last long due to the weather but we had fun and after went to Denny's.

My favorite part of the 4th was spending time with Family!! My Grandparents hosted the best party, of which i failed to take pictures at..I was just having to much fun! We rented a water slide and had a BBQ. Later in the day we went to Ryan's Fam and feasted some more. Needless to say the day was a blast!! Thanks all!

Last week we enjoyed a day at Seven Peaks. I can not explain what it means and how much fun I have spending time with all my loved ones! It just so happens they are alot of fun!

This is my little chicken. .however a mom can rest easy with a child like Brax. Whom by the way I had to convince to go on the kiddy slide and also to actually get in the water.

Tay on the other hand, had no problem keeping up with the kids!! Not even the tube was going to stop him. He loves the water and just goes and goes.

Ryan planned a really fun trip up to Walsburg where we attended an antique show. There were Tractor's, Motorcycle's, a Train and yummy homemade ice cream!

So far this summer we have gone and gone! That is what summer is about right? Well we are having fun and at any minute ready for the next adventure.

NINE Months!!

My little guy is nine months! Honestly he is a little small for his age, I think that the last growth period we had been on and off sick so much that I do not think he grew like he should have..poor guy but I also love that he is my little boy. I think that Tay is going to be my allergy/asthma boy! Thank goodness for breathing treatments! However is still very healthy and seriously the happiest little boy! It really makes my day every time I see that cheeser and as often as he smiles my day is made time and time again. Tay is also my busy guy! Getting into things and exploring is his favorite thing to do. He so much fun and it just gets better! I love and am so blessed to have such a fun and happy spirit in my home. Thanks Tayven We all love you!

Thanks to Ryan we had an awesome time! He really knows how to plan a family trip. Thanks Sparky.. We hit Grogs, it is a must stop if you are remotely close to price. Did a little swimming, shopping, (not all of us were prepared for swimming) Rock crawling and Arches National Park! Honestly I think it was the perfect time of the year to go. The weather was perfect! We are so glad Quinton was able to come he was fun and helped with the boys. Braxton and Tayven were so good..a little wired after the car rides but happy fun boys! I am so glad we were able to go! It was a memorable trip and hopefully there is more to come!

The Best part of the Zoo and the reason we decide to go! T-Rex! Braxton's favorite! The Dinosaurs were so real looking and almost scary...even to Brax who is obsessed!

Tayven's favorite part of the zoo was the bird show. It was really cool! There was several birds like: Owls, doves and hawks that would fly right over you; Tay would not take his eyes off them!

When we decided that we were going to the Zoo and I was telling Brax about the dinosaurs he thought we were going to another Museum which is how he came up with ZooMeum. It really was a perfect day and so much fun to get together with everyone! All the little ones were so good! I can not wait to go back!

Memorial day weekend was the last day For Thomas the train at the Heber Valley Creeper so we decided to take the boys up! The weather was bad on and off but it cleared up when we got there and was just right! Brax loved it and loved the big train with the conductor! It was nice to spend time together and create memories as Ryan says. I have to say the Shakes in Heber are the best and treated us good after our train ride.

I Love this guy he keeps me going all day and sometimes even all night..We are working hard at sleeping through the night. Tayven is just so inconsistent with sleeping in the night. He is not bad but one night he will be up at one, the next night not til four, sometimes both others not at all. I keep telling myself that it is teeth or he is sick, this and that, but regardless we will get him sleeping like a baby at night! mom needs a good rest especially with this monkey.

As you can see this is my little busy body; whether it is crawling all over, getting into the entertainment center or pretty much crawling out of his crib, he is always on the move! Tayven is so much fun right now and I love his personality! He honestly will just crawl into his room and get whatever toy to play with. He is always happy and is usually smiling..with a slight head tilt. lol. Recently this is what I find when I come into the boys room..Tay will be peering out and Braxton will be on his bed yelling "Hey Broder!" It is my favorite! I love hearing them giggle together. I can tell already that they are going to be best buds. Ya know once they get past the sharing stage and I am sure there is more but they love each other and I am so glad!

While we were at the Dunes an Apache helicopter flew right over our camp several times. It was really cool and Braxton loved it! This is Uncle Jake on the trailer watching for the helicopter.

It has been a while since we have been camping and it was so fun to go out to the Dunes with the family! We all got along great and had a blast! I must say having a trailer was really nice with the little ones. We played hard and laughed even harder. Thanks for the good times!

He has not Graduated yet but our three day potty training went so well and I am so proud of my BIG boy!!! We are still working on telling mom when we need to go but he stays dry and has done so well!!!! I seriously cried the first time he pooped in the toilet. You could tell he was so confused (whether I was excited or sad) but I just was so overwhelmed at how big he is!! I can not believe how well he has gone, I was so stressed about the whole thing. GOOD JOB Brax!!!

4: The BEST Date Ever!!!

I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about my hot date last night before I forget. I do not write about Ryan and I very often and as you can see I was not able to snatch a picture of the two of us but I am so grateful for our relationship and the time we are able to spend together. Last night Ryan took me on a date. He, as usual did not tell me what we were doing. We started out at our favorite place to eat for dinner La Casita, then we went for a drive. I was not sure where we were going at times as we talked and listened to the radio but we made our way around Utah lake and out to Genola. Along the way we stopped to listen to the spring creekers.(little frogs by the thousands) I seriously felt like a teenage girl again just doing nothing really, riding around with my man holding hands and getting to know each other. Especially now with two busy little boys I find that my time with Ryan is so precious and I love that he makes and plans such fun dates. The whole night he made me feel so special complementing the way my eyes shine and how much he loved everything about me! WOW it does not get better than that. I am so in love with him and I feel like the luckiest girl and not only is he my best friend but the best little daddy. Braxton asked Ryan yesterday what his name was, Ryan replied Daddy. Braxton continued, Why? Ryan then said Because that is what I am! So cute and priceless!

Reaching new heights

Braxton has had a blast jumping on the tramp at Abbie's house. He is kind of chicken so it is funny to watch him as he stands up and jumps. Braxton has never been a climber and although he does not like the slide he loves playing on the playground. He is getting the bug and wants to be outside all day everyday and it has been so hard keeping him in the house when it is cold/snowing! I am hoping that jumping on the tramp is the start of reaching new heights for him this summer! I can hardly stand it!

I have tried so hard to catch Tayven's new teeth on camera they are so cute! Even more cute is his tongue sticking out to feel them. On top of being sick he is getting his second tooth but he has certainly been a trooper poor little guy. I hope this means he will be less sick next year. We can only hope. ;) along with new teeth Tay is trying all sorts of new foods despite his hatred for baby food. some of his favorites are Bananas, frozen peaches, Avocado and even some Cheetos! We are still just taking baby steps but we will get there one step at a time.

#3 Goals: Spring gives me the itch to make some changes and so I thought maybe I would think of a new height I want to reach for myself..I would say mostly because I enjoy it so, that I am a good mom but mom can take on so many meanings and I think that something I could use a little work on is bringing more of Christ spirit in our home and creating some good habits for our little ones. I look around me and think of how badly I want my children to be leaders and stand for Truth and Right. I think this is a foundation that you build at a young age and I know I can be better at it. So here is to making that extra effort everyday.

If you go here there is a good chance we will be there too. Including Braxton La Casita has been our favorite for years. I am waiting for Brax to try something to hot that he does not like but he is definitely our child. I have said for years that I am surprised that Ryan and I did not meet there; both our families love it as well and there are countless times we all have the same idea about not cooking dinner and show up at the Casita! LOVE IT!! number uno!!

!Sleeping!

Finally! After a rough night we are napping. Tayven has been sick and after putting him to sleep a little early last night we were up from about midnight to three. Brax had a cold then Tayven got RSV then Brax got a sore throat and now Tay has a sore throat; it is the boys catching one thing after another that gets me really anxious for summer. I can not wait to have fun in the sun! As for now it is snoozing time. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Epiphany

My conscience has been eating at me extra hard about my blog and the lack there of. I am afraid to say it, especially out loud (Ryan hates the idea of it) but a big part of my time has gone to..facebook. Before my facebook days I believe I was a lot better at updating the blog, with at least one post a week on mostly Brax but never the less updates. . . So recently I have seen Thirty day blogging challenges and I guess this will be an honest attempt to be better at recording fun things in our life. (I am not sure if I will follow one in particular and hopefully it will last thirty days but.. Here we go; enjoy.) 1: Favorite sayings from people you love Ryan: One that always gets me laughing is his short inside phrases he will use for awhile like: "Hey there!" "Hey you guuyys!" most recent "Really, Really" (in a deep voice) Brax: Braxton is so funny sometimes, coping anything and everything or sometimes just blurting out the least expected. The latest and greatest is his singing. "We had a great day it was a super way, to spend some time together." Tay: Always the best to hear and his first word by the way. "Ma Ma" he also says dad . . a lot but mom when he sad.

6 Months!!

This little guy is six months already!! My favorite thing lately is how busy he is. You can tell the way that he watches Brax that he can not wait to just get down and play!! He is almost hard to hold because he is everywhere.
Tay has been extra particular about starting solids. He is a little texture funny so every time I try and feed him he will spit the food back at me. I went to the doctor today and Tay was in the 9th percentile so we need to find something he likes and chunk this kid up ;)
I am having so much fun with Tay...not that I did not with Brax but you definitely stress less with number two and I feel like we are having so much fun. Boys are the best!! I am so lucky to have three!!!

Tayven is all but CrAwliNg! It is crazy! especially because he is not even sitting yet. It is kind of funny because usually after he eats the second I put him down he flips over and trys to take off. He gets bouncin' on his tummy and moving like a worm, that I feel like I follow a snail trail of spit up. He is so active. When him and Brax play he just gets so excited! You can tell that he can not wait until he can jump and play like his cool big brother.

The Boys are so fun together! It just thrills me to see how loving Braxton is and how Tay just gets that look in his eyes when Braxton talks to him; like he really looks up to him. I hope that they always stay close. Best Buds. (PS Grandma made the PJ's for Valentines day! so cute!!)

That's my Braxton! I really do not know what else to say.. He is so funny and is learning every day. Braxton is learning what being two is all about; it is tough but we are so proud of him! He can be so polite("say Thank you, your welcome") and comes up with the craziest things. What would we do with out him?

We went to the pool. The boys had so much fun and were exhausted when we were through. What a fun presidents day!

I hope to be better at blogging. I had a hard night tonight but even after chasing around to get everything done, I could not help but feel so blessed and proud of our growing boys and our little family. It makes me so happy to be around them and see the light and fun spirits that they bring into our home. I truly am so blessed!!!

Tayven is always so happy and is in such a fun stage: He is finding his voice so he likes to scream and laugh, he loves grabbing his toes and rolling around the floor and my favorite he loves playing in the tub!(his kicking and splashing is so cute!) not a day goes by that I am not so thankful for my boys!! I can not get enough and we are so blessed to add Tay to our little family!!

I have been so bad at updating about our lives! Life gets a little crazy now and then. The boys are growing fast as you can see. I feel so blessed to be home with them more and watching them grow. It is so funny how things work out; we were really nervous about me going part time but honestly nothing has been different! (Except me blogging less..It is funny how that works.)

Well Braxton is two...Which means we are learning lots about sharing and hitting, being patient and happy. Braxton always keeps us laughing, he is always saying the darndest things. like his latest: "whatever" "Stupid" (not the best one but what do you do when mom says it all the time) "like a move it move it, move it!" (my favorite. Learning how to sing.. it cracks me up). The one night I was busy getting dinner started and forgot that I was starting a movie for Brax. He finally came and said: "Push Play Mom!" I realized that how much he can communicate with me and how nice it is that he can!! I am so proud of Braxton! Being little is hard and he is doing it so well and learning so much!!

Tayven is growing like a weed. It makes me sad because I have not been as good at updating. blogging is my way of seeing the changes in my little guys; so I have to be better! Tayven I have noticed already is so active. He is just so close to rolling and sitting up. He loves to play with his feet and toys. I am always so impressed with how content and happy he is; even with all the colds we have been passing around. I do not know about you but I think he looks a lot like Ry, SO Handsome!! Tay makes me so happy even when I am sad His smile can change my day!

Ryan and are never stop! between work and the kids. (Ryan has been working 5 ten hour days and an 8 on Saturday..Then school on top of that.. basically we miss him!) We were able to go to Jeff Dunham the other night with mom and Dad Tuttle! We had a blast and definitely needed some time out. I feel so overwhelmed with all the blessings right now in my life!! I am one lucky Girl!!!!

This year was so fun! busy but fun! We made the rounds and made to all the family get together's. My favorite was Christmas day. Opening presents with Brax was fun and then Christmas breakfast is never bad!! My parents always put together a Christmas breakfast and it is probably my favorite time. everyone gets together and brings over all the fun things they got from Santa and we eat any and every type of breakfast food. it is Delicious!! I hope your holidays were as good as ours and Happy New Year!! 2011!

Two Years!!

It was the morning of December 15th and still no baby!!! He was supposed to be here by now!! Days ago and still no baby. I decided to call the doctor and see if he would let me come in early for my weekly appointment, in hopes that he would say: "Oh just head on over to the hospital." . . (I had been dilated to a 3 and seventy five percent effaced for two, almost three weeks!) . . boy was I wrong. I decided that because I was good and depressed that I would spend the day with my sister and play hooky from work. I went to work the next day and completed little preparations, trying to make the day go by faster. My doctor had promised to start me Wednesday the 17th so that morning I got the call about 5:30am telling me that they had a bed for me if I wanted to come on over. We hurried over texting everyone on the way, about the good news. (I remember sitting at a light in Provo asking ry if he had text my sister and sister-in-law, for he had been texting them several times before to tell them we were on the way to the hospital just to get them all rilled up.) We got to the hospital and checked in, it was about 9:oo when I got the platocin and shortly after Dr. Nance broke my water then we waited. . . My guests arrived and we waited. I wanted to feel the contractions, ya know be tough for a little while before I got my epidural. They started to get closer together and more painful so I decided it was time, My brother wanted to watch them do the epidural so we called him over and as soon as he got there called the antisalogist in to get the job done. Ryan seemed concerned but held my hand as I got the epidural. After I was comfortable my guest rotated lunch shifts and when Ryan and his mom got back they had put oxygen on me because the babies heart rate had gone down. When everyone got back we started taking guesses at what time and how big Braxton would be; the nurses were almost irritated because we were guessing times a couple hours out and first time moms are in labor a lot longer than that. . . waited a little longer and then doctor Nance checked me and I was ready to go. It was a little after one when I started pushing, after about three pushes Dr. Nance looked at me and said . .We need to get him out this time, big push! and Then I heard his cry =) Seven pounds seven ounces and eighteen and half inches. perfect little guy. He was here!! He arrived at 1:32 on December 17, 2008.

After that everyone followed Ryan and the baby to be washed while I went down to my room. As soon as I got there Ryan showed up at the door with our perfect little boy in a Christmas stocking.

Today he is two and I am so grateful for this little guy! I can not believe that he is two! Two years has gone by so fast and it has been a blast! What a blessing he is to our little family. We love you Braxton so much!! Haappy Birthday!

Braxtons Favorite Things!!!!

I think that Brax is at such a fun age, minus the constant need to get into things and I wanted to share his interests mostly for myself. I want to remember this fun age. . . .So this is BRAXTONS FAVORITE THINGS! kind of like Oprah's Favorite Things but without the giveaway.

1. Anything to do with Tractors! Backhoes, Loaders and Bulldozer's.
2. Movies: Cars, Toystory 3, How to Train your Dragon, Grinch and Up
3. Trucks! Peterbult, Macks and Kenworth. (yes he knows them all and even will correct me if I am wrong.)
4. Any toys that have anything to do with Dragons, Dinosaurs, tractor's, trucks and or cars! He will even sleep with them.
5. Food: Cheese and Crackers, Mandarin oranges, any kind of cereal, and any treat is his favorite!
6. Brax has always been a blanket boy. He love the soft ones and will ask for them when he gets tired.
7. I would like to think this is his favorite but it might depend on the day but he loves his family!! everyone of them. It is such an amazing thing to see how a child can love and Brax does love all of his family. The list is getting pretty long for his birthday invites.

Braxton is so fun and I am so grateful for him in our lives! He keeps us laughing! Thanks Brax we love you!!

(Tay is only Three months here..I am a tard)

Braxton-Braxton is doing great, if we can avoid all the colds and stuff out there =) He is talking so well!! What used to be dagon is now dragon and moovie is mom watch toy story! Practically full sentences. I am so proud of my smart boy! The most recent with brax is hitting; gotta love it. When Braxton hits we sit on time out so the other day he said: "Mom we don't hit! time out." I guess he is getting what I am saying at least. I do not think he understands sorry though. after hitting Payslie when I ask him to say sorry he does his famous scowl and says "no!" I think he sees it as, you are the reason I am on time out...we are learning. . a little at a time.
Tayven-Tay is definitely my happy boy!! always smiling! He is so close to laughing; I can not wait! Tayven is growing like crazy. I had the classic..waiting for that cute outfit to be able to fit and hurry and pull it out just in time for him to get a few good wears out of it.
Mom-Same old running around trying to be super mom. I am back to work. PART-TIME and I love it! A big load off my shoulders, I honestly do not know if I could pull off the full time job, full time mom but what a blessing to be able to spend that extra time with my boys!!! I will never forget how hard it is working full time with kids, my heart goes out to all of those that do it!! I am so blessed to work part-time.
Dad-Is working in Salt Lake, making the commute everyday, even Saturdays starting at 4:30! yikes! Ry is also going to school and being a great dad...squeezing in hunting.(in that order ;)) Ryan is such a hard worker and I am so proud of him!!

Ok so these are not the best pictures and I know I need to post updates on both boys but I have been wanting to do this for a while. 1. What is your all time favorite song and why?
This is extra hard as I Love music but the one I find myself singing the most and that always makes me cry is: "Love is spoken here." It reminds me of how my home should be and helps me feel the spirit.

2.What was the most memorable part of your wedding day or your first date?
My wedding day would have to be..Seeing Ryan in his tux, he looked so handsome and It all just felt right. oh and don't forget the helicopter ride was pretty dang sweet, not very many people can say that a helicopter landed at their reception and then their husband drove them to the airport in it! Awesome!!
Our first date was fun! and what seemed like forever it finally happened =) but I think the most memorable part was the kiss at the end of the night, especially after I thought he said he had a girlfriend and that I did not stand a chance....guess not.

3.What do you want to be when you grow up?
Hum...I would have to go with my favorite job and that is a mom! It is such hard work and exhausting sometimes but I sure love it and it is also the most rewarding job! I am so grateful to be sending more time with my boys and working part time has been the biggest blessing!

4.Why do I Blog?
I blog for the memories. I love to go back through my blog and look at pictures, dates and fun things that have happened to our family..and sometimes not so fun. I also like showing it off to friends and family...it is a good Grandma brag blog.

5.What is your favorite attribute about yourself and why?
Well this is hard for me..............I guess that I am organized. I do not know what I would do without organization and between bills, meals and cleaning it is a life saving attribute.

6.What is on your Christmas list this year?
I am so excited about Christmas this year!! My wish this year is that my family have a good Christmas! Brax is going to be so much fun! I do not know where to stop. Anything boy he absolutely loves!!! I can not wait!

Tay is getting so big! I feel like I watch him grow over night. He is such a happy baby. I love his smile but my favorite lately has been after his bath: he gets so happy, he starts just kicking his feet and moving his hands then comes the chatter.. he will coo and goo for the longest time! My Scared Boy

HELICOPTER!!!

Yesterday we made a trip to Primary Childrens Hospital for a follow up appointment for Braxton's fractured nogin. I was not expecting the experience we had: The automatic overwhelming feeling that you get the second that you walk through the door, when you see all the tiny patients and their parents parading around with wheel chair and oxygen some even on a gurney bed. I could not help but get tears in my eyes and feel just a portion of what those parents are feeling for their helpless little one. We checked in and had the cat scan which by the way before Brax would go had to see Mac(the truck) go for a ride. Then we had our appoinment with the Neurosurgen, which everything was fine, he said Braxtons fracture is hilling nicely. We kind of had to tell him why we were there and he seemed to think it was not a big deal..probably compared to all the serious things that he sees all day. Anyway I am so gratefull that Brax and Tay are so healthy and that everything worked out good. I do know if I could be that other parent. Bless them and their little ones!

This about sums up what Brax thinks of his new baby brother. Brax loves and cares for Tayven but to be honest he is just more into his cool trucks and tractors. When he hears Tay cry he will ask "whata mater baby broder" Recently ... this past week he has asked to hold him, this lasts about a minute and then he his done. Thanks Brax for being such a good sport about welcoming a new member of our family..sometimes it is hard.

I feel like Brax is so fun to watch and is always entertaining us, but as soon as I get out the camera he freezes and this is what I get.

This is Tayven at Six Weeks!! It really makes me sick that he is already six weeks. He is such a patient, happy baby. We are so lucky with such good boys!!

I have really enjoyed dressing my boys the same. These are there twin outfits. Cute huh!

~Update On BRAX~

Brax in his new, cool PJ's grandma got him after a long night in the emergency room. Brax was helping mom cook dinner and fell onto the tile! He cried for a little while but was excited to have his dino-nuggets for dinner, we ate and when it was time for bed he would not lay down. He cried which is not normal for our little guy; he usually goes to bed really well, so we took him over to the emergency room and had some x-rays done...sure enough he had a skull fracture on the right side. Braxton is a trooper, he is doing really well and things could have been a lot worse!! I do have to say that he was quite funny under sedation. He apparently saw a dinosaur in the trash and his IV turned into a Buzz light year laser. Well we are so happy he is doing well, He is such a happy boy and we are so blessed to have him as part of our family...(little brother might disagree now but someday..)

Brax has been so good with having a new baby brother! He will watch his favorite movies while mom gets ready. Thank goodness for Cars, Monsters INC., Nemo and Toy story!!

To the Men

To the men, boy's, dad's, brother's, grandpa's and husbands, I really felt like I needed to share a few things and make a special thanks to all the men out there in my life. On the Sunday prior to my Tay-mans arrival, my dad and Ry gave me a special blessing. This meant so much to me and was so amazing because it was the first blessing that Ryan has given me, it really was special to see him using his priesthood. In the blessing my dad blessed that all of the nurses and doctors would be attentive to mine and the babies needs. I truly believe that it was because of this blessing that things went as well as they did the morning of Tays arrival. There was a pediatric nurse that came up to be there when the baby came, she was sitting out at the nurses station watching my babies monitor, I do not know for sure what would have happened had she not but she was the one that gathered the doctor and all my nurses together so that we could get the baby here. His heart rate was dropping and they needed to get him here fast! (Thus the two pushes and he was here!) My doctor sure shined as well watching my contractions so as to get in as many and as long of pushes as possible. When Tay got here he was not crying, doctor Nance quickly cut the cord (managing to squirt the intern because of the pressure on the cord..ha ha) and handed him to the pediatric nurse. Everyone there was indeed very attentive and that I am so very grateful for! Thanks dad and Ry!
This and a resent posted blog about my brother, got me thinking of the all the great men in my life!! I could go on with individual stories about each one but I just want to Thank my Heavenly father for each of them, we are so lucky! I pray that my boys will live up to their names (Braxton Ryan and Tayven Blaine) and follow the examples of the dad, grandpa's, uncle's and brother =D

Things are going well at the Tuttle house!! I am finally feeling well enough to get in a routine with the boys. Baby Tay of course has his days and nights mixed up and any advice would be great; if there is any out there..It is so crazy how much you forget and how different every child is! Brax is doing so good with the new baby and all the adjustments to his life! I am so proud of him! Me and Ry work as a team everyday and it is hard work but I love it! I never thought that I would be so grateful for a hot bath once a day. It is my time and probably the only time of day and night I get to relax and soak. It is said in our family that a hot bath is therapy and it certainly is! (Those Moms know what they are talking about. aka Andy)
Thanks to everyone for all your love and support of our new little family! We would not be where we are today with out you all.

First Day Home
It all started with a phone call on September 1st at 5:30am. There was a room available at the hospital for them to get me started in! I got up and got dressed put in some muffins and called my mom. (she watched Brax until he woke up and then took him to play with Kelc and Jenson) We got over to the hospital about 7. We got into our room about 7:30 and they got me all hooked up and ready to go. They started me on the platocin about 8:30 and then came the waiting game, or so I thought =D. I started contracting but wanted to stay tough so I chewed on what is now flavored ice chips and waited for my support team to show up. Dr. Nance came in and broke my water at 9:40. They checked me shortly after and I was already at a six. I decided this was a good time for an epidural, it was weird because after that I was still really feeling a lot of pressure. At about eleven we all started taking guesses, everyone was guessing noon or so and pretty soon all my nurses and Dr. Nance came in and said lets get this baby here!! The nurse guessed 11:15 and checked me. I was at a 10 and ready to go! I think the staff was a little nervous because the babies heart rate dropped. Two pushes later at 11:07 our little boy made his arrival! He had the cord wrapped around his neck so he was not crying at first but Dr. Nance quickly cute the cord and got him cryin'. They weighed him and cleaned him off and then it was time to hold him! It was all so fast but all in all a great experience! Welcome Tay! I can not believe how much we love you already! What a blessing!!

Well, just a little catch up =) today is the last checkup before the baby is born! Dr. Nance said if he does not see me at the hospital before the first he will see me there then and start me that morning!! I am at a 2 and 80% effaced so we will see what happens. It is exciting that it is right around the corner!!! Wish me luck and we will keep you updated for number two!!

Aunt Maegan took Brax to the zoo today! Brax has never been and he really enjoyed going and seeing all the animals! Ok so I will admit and I am not sure why but I was a basket case!(Maybe because my due date is approaching and we are ready to be done!) but I felt like it was the first day of kindergarten. I sent him to the zoo with his little backpack and snacks just in case. It was kind of hard not being able to go but I am sure glad that he was able to go and see the animals!! I can not look at this picture with out a huge smile on my face! Just about every Saturday some or part of my family get together and go for breakfast and a coke. It is something I look forward to all week. Our time together on Saturday's are so special; we talk and laugh at each other and our kids. I really never thought that all of my siblings and I would be pretty much at the same stage in life, but as you can see we are and even though it can be a little crazy it is my favorite thing. This particular Saturday we were gearing up for breakfast so that we could get back and clean my moms house, while she was headed back from her trip in Alaska. I can not remember the last time we all did our Saturday's work together(as mom would call it) me, Jake, Jed and Abbie. We got along a lot better than the Saturday's I remember. =D It really felt like home and we had a lot of fun doing something nice for mom! My mom likes to say when we all get together that it is heaven on earth and it really is! I am so grateful to have such a close family. I can not explain what a huge blessing that has been in my life and I do not know where I would be without it!!! Love you all!!!

Brax is officially sleeping in his big boy bed!! We got him it awhile back but I finally found the sheets and bed spread that I wanted(Thanks to collage back to school sales). We made the transition a couple nights ago and honestly I worried about it more through out the night than I needed to. I thought that he would try and get out or not be able to see his way off the bed and he did so well!! He even waited until I came in to his room in the morning to get out. His is such a good boy and we are so lucky to have him!

I just have to say how proud of Brax I am and brag a little!! We had our Wellness check up last week and the doctor was really impressed at how well Braxton talks.. really impressed. He said that Brax was a level that he did not expect until after two. He sat down with me and talked about how children who talk at an earlier age are more likely to have less tantrums, seeing as they can communicate what they want, instead of having to throw a fit until you realize and that they do not know for sure why but that they also do better in school (whether it is the communication between the parent and child or that they are more intelligent). I know that I have always thought he was smart but I really liked hearing from someone else. We are so lucky to have Brax! It almost makes me nervous about this next one because we have had it so easy. he has slept good, ate good, lets face it.. he is stinkin cute, and funny!! Thanks for being a good Boy Brax!! Mom and Dad sure LOVE you!!

Family Night swimming party! I love getting together with my family. They are all so neat and bring such a big part to our family. Last week we got together for a BBQ and a swim; it was a lot of fun and was Braxtons first swim this summer...He loved it!

So Braxton Loves, LOVES Trucks, Tractors and Trains!!! Loves them!! So on Saturday Ryan took Brax to a Helicopter landing at the fire station. They had popcorn, Balloons and most important aloud you to go through the fire truck and helicopter! Brax had so much fun! Thanks DAD!!!

Rocky Mountain Race Way Baby!! Ryans Family went to the drag races! It was so much fun!! AWESOME!!! Ryan has such a fun family and it was really nice to go hang out. I know I do not usually do this. I procrastinate blogging til I have an extra cute picture of Brax to post about his latest, but I decided that lately I have been feeling extra blessed and I wanted to Blog about it.
Believe it or not the past couple weeks in relief society the lesson's have obtained to the home and mothers; after the lesson's I contemplate how great the mothers in my life are but even bigger how blessed I am to be a mom! Mothers have such a special responsibility! I wanted to quote this last conference talk by brother Foster: He tells of a friend of his (Brother Pearson)reading a picture book to his little boy at bedtime, The little boy, (Eric) picked a book that did not have words so his father begins to make up the words to the story.
“Paddy is in a hot-air balloon. He is landing on an island now. He is dropping a line over the side of the balloon.”
Eric stopped him. “Dad, that is not a line. It’s a rope.”
Brother Pearson looked at Eric and back at the picture book, and then he continued: “Paddy is getting out of the balloon and climbing down the tree. Oh no! His coat is caught on a limb!”
Again Eric stopped him. “Dad, that’s not a coat. It’s a jacket.” By now Brother Pearson was somewhat perplexed. He said, “Eric, there are no words in this book, just pictures. Why do you insist that it’s a jacket?”
Eric answered, “Because Mother told me.”
His father closed the book and said, “Eric, who do you think is the last word, the ultimate authority in this house?”
This time Eric thought carefully before he answered, “You are, Dad.”
Brother Pearson beamed at his son. What an exceptional answer! “How did you know that?”
Eric quickly responded, “Mother told me.”
I really like this short story. It is inspiring and funny, yet so true. I had feelings of great mothers and at the same time wonder if I am doing everything that I can to help Brax be raised in Truth and light. I know that he knows of my love for him, dads, Abbies, Grandmas and many more, but What about Christ and his Father in Heaven? At the same time I am so grateful for this responsibility. I love being a mom and sharing my testimony with him until he can get his own. It my responsibility to build my testimony for him now and build that spirit in our home.
President James E. Faust said: “There is no greater good in all the world than motherhood. The influence of a mother in the lives of her children is beyond calculation” I HOPE THAT MINE IS UNCALCUABLE as well! Thanks Brax for letting me be your mom!

We went to the CiRcuS in town. It was rather interesting but fun. We were really debating going; I knew Braxton would love the elephants and entrainment. Ryan decided that this was our chance to possible see first hand when CirCuS tricks go bad or when animals attack so we decided to go.
Braxton Loved it!! He thought that the elephants were Moos.

Little did Ryan know he would be called as a volunteer in the second act!! It was so funny seeing him play hoops with the CiRcUs clown!!
Braxton also got to go help papa joe with the cows for the first time!! I thought that once it came down to it he would be scared with all of them but he wanted in the carals and loved every minute!! My favorite! Brax intently watching the MOOS

SO we had our Ultra Sound, and like always enjoyed seeing our little bloB!

We all went to the Living Aquarium!! It was a lot of fun to spend some time with each other and take Brax to do something fun! He loved the Fish and thought he could just walk were ever he wanted to go. There was so many people there but it was so much fun!!!

Believe it or not it was actually warm enough to play out side yesterday!! Braxton is such an outside person. He loves to just walk outside and wait for the train to pass! Sorry the CHOo choO!! Ryan and I have noticed that he pays very close attention to how we unlock and open the door..it makes me a little nervous.
He is very careful about passing over the side walk cracks, usually getting down on his hands like an elephant and stepping from one side to the other. Happy to be Outside!!!!

Just thought I would catch up my not so little guy. He is so much fun!! He says pretty much anything and we can not help but laugh at the stuff he comes up with. He has pretty much mastered walking it is fun to watch him with his squeaky shoes and all he wants to do is walk outside in the somewhat warm weather. How could that smile not make you melt? It sure makes my day!!!

Brax is a TV junkie! He loves to eat and watch TV. Already he is so good to watch a movie while mom gets ready or picks up. He just gets so involved in what he is watching. We definitely have to monitor how much he watches cuz he will watch and watch and watch. It is kind of funny that at such a young age he would be so enthralled with TV but anyways I took these pictures the other day and wanted to share.

I found out last Monday I am THREE months along!!! At least 12 weeks. we projected my due date as September 1st. We were able to hear the heart beat so we know that I am 12 weeks at least. When we get the ultrasound there is a chance that they might change the date but we will see!!! I've been a little stressed with this one but Ryan and I are really excited. It is kind of weird having two, I worry that I just love Brax so much, ya know...It is silly and it is weird how much you forget. You have the same worries and stresses about this little one as you did with the first.

Oh this Valentines Day was so much fun!!! We were able to go to the Grand America in Salt Lake for their brunch! It was Amazing, Seriously!! I was in owe at all the yummy food that they had. It was so nice to spend that time with family and do something nice.
I don't know how I would judge the final 14 days but I did the 14 reasons why I love Ryan and I just had so much fun surprising him. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am still so in LOVE with him!!! We Had the best V-Day thanks to Ryan and My Mom and Dad!! PS did you notice that I chopped all my hair? It is my new look.. At least for a little while. It is really nice and I am really liking it.

Christmas at our house

This year was really fun, however I do not know that we could take a step down from last year. Braxton was fun and between Birthday and Christmas he made a haul with all the gifts.I did not know for sure when to get him up so around seven I woke him. Once he got some food in his tummy he was good to go. He loved the moose that santa brought and mom loved her new high heels. After opening all our presents we headed to my mom and dads for my favorite part of Christmas, Christmas breakfast! The rest of the Christmas traditions followed and it was a fun relaxing holiday; a nice break from our everyday hustle and bustle.

My Baby is going to be one tomorrow and it is killing me!! I can not believe that it has already been a year! It seriously feels like just the other day we brought him home to our house. The best Christmas present anybody could ask for.
This year has been alot of fun! I was watching all our home videos last night and I felt like I was laughing and crying all in one video. I just can not beilve how fast time has gone by and my baby boy is going to be a toddler! Through out the year we have learned to sit, crawl and almost walk, grew some teeth and a couple rolls here and there, learned words like: da da, mama, nana(grandma), bam pa (grandpa), pitty(pretty), Jenson, kaka(yucky), wow and did I say Bam pa? We are learning and playing hard with a few bumps and bruses along the way.
I guess time flies when you are having fun but could it stop?

I have been so bad at updating!! You know the story I am sure. Well as for Brax, he has been sick with a cold. It is the saddest thing!! He has a cough and this sad raspy voice. I am surprised at how good he has been even though he does not feel good. I just hope he can get over it in time for the big BiRThDAy!! I am so grateful for Brax and the fun spirit that he is, I can not believe that he will be ONE! It makes me so sad!! but we sure are having fun with him and enjoy every stage!

I know I say this all the time but Brax is in a really fun stage!! He is so funny! The latest is that he loves to sit with you and look at pictures on the Internet! He laughs when he sees my blog. He will sit there for ever and say, "what's that?" he especially loves seeing pictures of him which is not hard to come by when my blog is covered with pictures of him.

After we get out of the bath I always lotion him down and spike his hair crazy thus why it always looks crazy in the morning...I love it! This is a picture that I thought was cute of his spiked hair.

I finally aloud Brax to feed himself some applesauce it made him the most messy possible he has ever been but it was good for him and fun to watch him figure out the spoon!

Thanks to our Veterans the Credit Union was closed Wednesday. It was really fun to spend that extra time with Brax. We took some muffins to my mom's school and Brax loved it! I think he will do well in school. He loved rug time (singing and playing shapes), and of course play time! After that we did a little shopping and then got to hang out for the rest of the afternoon just being lazy. It was a really good day and I am grateful to be with Brax he is so fun and is growing way to fast!

This Halloween; Braxton first Halloween was so much fun!! We attended trunk-or-treat at my Dad's ward on Thursday. Saturday we went down to the city Trick-or-treating, it was such a beautiful day and it was so fun to walk around with my family and their cute little trick-or-treaters. Braxton was not ornery but he had this scowl on his face the whole time! It was so funny!!
After trick-or-treating we went to Andie's and had soup. YuM!! Brax sat outside on her steps for what seemed like forever just talking and eating his dirt and worms that mom made for him. He loved it and we both had one fun holliday.
